We found our property in 2011 as pastureland with nothing on it. On the same day we were supposed to close on our property, my husband got a pink slip from his job. We came to the property, prayed together, and God has helped us. From there, we added our well, our house, our buildings, our gardens, fencing, animals, passive solar and active solar and everything to make it more self-sufficient on a budget.
